EDIT: Closed for entries! We raised $28,571 through this raffle y’all! Thank you all for your support, I never expected to raise so much and feel totally blown away. If you would like another chance to win tattoo time and custom art from me in exchange for donations to orgs supporting Black trans women, you can enter the Lilith Tattoo Fundraiser for Black Lives here! Winner will be drawn July 1st.
There is no collective liberation without Black liberation. Black people have been clear on this for a looooong time, and truly have been throwing down for collective liberation for generations!!! I cannot be more clear that an uncanny amount of the liberties we benefit from today are the direct result of the labor and sacrifice, but also just the sheer creative brilliance n deep deep love of centuries of Black minds and hearts committing themselves to this struggle. Beyond a moral obligation for non-Black people to redistribute wealth and pay reparations, if we seek collective liberation, we would do well to get resources into the hands of people who hold this kind of deep generational wisdom in their minds, hearts, and bodies.
It seems like there’s a way that we as non-Black people are vulnerable to this confusion that it isn’t in our best interest to commit our full selves to this struggle. We can no longer afford this confusion, a confusion that the majority of Black people have very possibly never been able to afford to begin with. I feel so clear that every person is a host of infinitely precious knowledge n power, has specific n crucial tools n wisdom to offer to this fight at any given moment. Every person includes you! Every person includes me too. This tattoo raffle is a thing I know about and am able to offer to this fight in this particular moment. A massive honor to wield this deep personal love of mine in favor of Black liberation, and in turn collective liberation, may we all be so lucky.

I have compiled a list of orgs/bailout funds/community efforts below with links to their donation pages for your convenience. To enter, make a donation to your selection from the list below and forward your donation confirmation email to averykiyobooking@gmail.com with your Instagram handle in the message (emails are soooo much easier for me to organize and keep track of than Instagram DM’s)! If you do not have an Instagram, you can ask a friend or family member if you can use their handle to enter. The winner will be announced on Instagram Monday, June 15th so make sure to have your entries in by then.
$10 per entry, no limit on amount of times you can enter. For every $50 you donate, you will receive one extra entry ($50 = 6 entries, $100 = 12 entries).
I will be offering 10 automatic entries per person to any Black folks who wish to enter, just shoot me an email with your ig handle and I will gladly enter you. If you’ve made any donations to these or really any other comparable efforts in the past, feel free to send screenshots of those too and they will be counted as additional entries.
For all non-Black participants, donations must be dated within the window of the tattoo raffle (June 1 - June 15) to count as entries, past donations will not be counted retroactively. Black people hold it down for this work all year round without getting any extra credit so this is a small nod toward honoring that work.
This list is by no means exhaustive so if there is an initiative not on this list that you would like to donate to for an entry, feel free to shoot me a message! I only ask that they center Black liberation/provide relevant assistance to those engaged in the current uprising.
PLS NOTE: The following orgs have received overwhelming support and have asked that funds be diverted elsewhere: The Minnesota Freedom Fund, Black Visions Collective, Reclaim the Block, NYC Bail Fund, Philly Bail Fund, The Northstar Health Collective. Please consider selecting a different org from the list below! You can also find the list of organizations Reclaim the Block has requested funds be diverted to here.
I will try to keep this list as up to date as possible! I have also removed Campaign Zero because I want to support the abolition of police, not their reform. You can read more about that here and find additional resources here.
