DEPOSIT + RESCHEDULE POLICY
A nonrefundable deposit of $100 secures your appointment. As a tattooer, many of the hours we work drawing, scheduling, and doing business and administrative labor we don’t get paid for unless our client follows through with getting their tattoo. A deposit is the only way to ensure that we get paid at least a little for some of those hours, and will help cover the loss of income in the event that someone cancels or reschedules and we are unable find someone to take their place. This is not to make any client feel bad for things coming up that are out of their control, but rather to give context for why we have these policies in place. In order to be fair to all clients, I do not make exceptions for particular reschedule/cancellation circumstances.
- This deposit is non-refundable. If you change your mind, cancel your appointment, or don't show up, your deposit will not be refunded.
- Your deposit will be applied to the cost of your tattoo for your final appointment (if your tattoo takes two sessions, it will be applied to the second session, for example).
- If you are late for your appointment, you will be charged starting 20 minutes after the time of you appointment (if your appointment is at 6pm, the clock will start at 6:20).
- You will be considered a 'no-show' and your deposit will not be refunded if you are 30 or more minutes late for your appointment time. If you have an emergency, you are expected to contact your tattooer whenever possible.
RESCHEDULE POLICY
- You must reschedule with more than 7 days notice to apply your original deposit to a new date. Rescheduling with less than 7 days notice will require a new deposit.
- You’re allowed one free reschedule per tattoo, on the second occurrence you will need to pay a $50 rescheduling fee to cover admin labor, and beyond that you will need to submit a new deposit to re-book.
- If you need to reschedule with more than 7 days notice, I will send you a link to my calendar along with a coupon code for you to enter when you re-book your appointment to avoid having to pay your deposit again.
- If you have booked non-repeatable flash, i will reserve the flash piece for you for one month after i’ve replied to your reschedule request. if you do not get back to me to follow through with rescheduling your appointment within a month, i will offer up the flash piece for booking again.
- Reschedules can be made with the same deposit up to five calendar months in the future (if your original appointment is in January, the latest you can use the same deposit to reschedule is the end of june). I do not typically have my schedule set more than a month in advance, so if you need to reschedule more than one calendar month into the future (say your original appointment is in January and you need to reschedule to March or beyond), you will be responsible for emailing me when I open my books for the month you wish to reschedule for. When I receive your email, I will send you a link to my calendar to re-book your appointment. If you forget to email me, or email after I have already closed my books for the month, I may not be able to guarantee availability for the month you are looking to book for. Appointment times are first come first served so if you do not re-book your appointment in a timely manner, there may not be availability left.
